I have over 30 years of post qualification experience in the service and in managing accounts and financial planning for businesses and am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA / CGMA). Over the years I have worked in many fields including: house building, distribution, telecoms, electronics and the financial services industries. Typically, I work with SMEs (Small to Medium Businesses) in Gloucestershire, Bristol, Wiltshire and surrounding areas of the South-West of England.

Gordon became a financial adviser in the insurance industry in 1979, progressing to Life Branch Inspector and Section Manager with Pearl Assurance in 1985. He became an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) in 1997, having established a Will Writing business in 1994. The business was incorporated in 1997 as Asset Guardian Company Ltd. The Company has now written Wills for well over 8,000 clients nationally, and also provides Probate Advice and Lasting Power of Attorney to a growing number of satisfied clients across the South West.

Karen is an experienced property lawyer, and the firm’s Head of Property. I have worked and continue to work in both education and psychology. Experienced in teaching and advising on education policy, I have worked in a range of sectors from primary aged children to postgraduate learning and professional development. Bilingual in French and fluent in German, I am able to teach in either of these languages, as well as in English.
