Hive was created in 2019, to create a new environment for an easily affordable business network that is not in place to make a profit.

The founder members of Hive were all members of another networking group that closed in August 2019. The remaining members decided they wanted to continue as a networking group on an independent basis.

After several meetings with all the members, Hive Networking was launched on the 2nd October with 12 founding members. It was decided that the midweek, midmorning meet times would best fit with business owners and to keep the costs low to encourage all sizes of businesses to join.

We wanted to maintain as much flexibility for members and it’s great to see that the membership has now grown to 26 members.
